The stardust has barely settled, but we’d love for you to come to our 'SECRET SHOW’ this Fri 11 Sept, 7:30pm, in Adelaide. It’s a free gig, but you’ll need to register and you’ll be notified of the venue by email on Friday morning. Fun! Spots are very limited, so jump on it and be part of this special event. ABOUT OBLIVIA JEAN
Oblivia Jean is fast becoming Adelaide's must see band. They burst on to the scene with a stunning debut show in the spring of 2025 and have continued to wow audiences with every outing. The likeable 4-piece recently did a Live From Studio 3 session on Three D Radio and it really was something special for such a new young band. They had the presenter gobsmacked, even shedding a tear, he was so moved by their performance. Oblivia Jean conjure cinematic dreamscapes that dazzle and daze in equal measure. Understated instrumentation, emotive lyricism and divine harmonies will have you oohing and aahing from the first song 'til the last. If you like the ethereal sounds of Ora Cogan, Julia Jacklin or Alice Phoebe Lou, then you’re bound to fall under the spell of Oblivia Jean.
Adelaide’s art nouveau rockers, Oblivia Jean, released their bold debut single, Blue Moon, on Tuesday 1 September. Not one to follow rules, the band’s introduction to the world is 8 minutes and 29 seconds of pure alt.rock bliss - a cinematic dreamscape of epic proportions. Blue Moon explores themes of renewal, realignment and re-discovery. Written by singer and guitarist, Jade Iannella, during a time where she found solace in a place of yearning - a time where she came to the honest realisation that life doesn’t always match your dreams and there’s not always someone there to catch you when you fall. It’s an assured meditation of soft inner rage that refuses to shy away from it’s wounds and scars, but rather wears them with pride as an act of healing. Blue Moon is the perfect portal into the celestial world of Oblivia Jean.“I wrote Blue Moon originally in the shed of my old house, having just moved and quitting my job. I had an abundance of time to ponder things I wouldn’t usually think about.”
